The Two Lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver

5.0

This book is 100% raw and emotional. I cried so many times. At first I hated it. I felt that it glorified the grieving process, mental health, and addiction. But how does one continue to live after everything they’ve ever known and loved in life dies? My heart ached for Lydia throughout the entire story. In the end I loved it. I loved her courage and her determination for her own healing process. It leaves you feeling hopeful.
