“After a certain point, wanting became pointless when having remained hopeless.” Writing and plot is okay. I wasn’t super invested in this book and didn’t find myself rooting for the characters I was more so reading just to see where it goes. Didn’t really feel attached to the characters, though learning about Olivia’s divorce was sad. I didn’t realize this book was a spinoff and included characters from the authors other works and kind of continued their stories without bothering the plot so that I did like but unfortunately I hadn’t read the other books and only found this out after finishing this one.
