My second Kandi book and I devoured it! This book gave me all the feels that hit so perfectly on Valentine’s Day!
This book follows Gemma a married woman who discovers her husband is unfaithful and before she can confront him and end their marriage he gives her a tragic and terminal health update that forces her to put her plans on hold. About a year after his passing she decides she’s going to enjoy life and date around but never marry again. She gets season tickets to her favorite team and decides she’s going to invite a new man to come to each game with her to experience dating life again. But first Zach the bartender overhearing the story volunteers as tribute to be the first trial date.
He falls first and harder, and it’s such a great story I couldn’t wait to finish it to see what happens but also I didn’t want it to end, I wanted so much more! Great story!
