As someone who rarely reads straight romance, or adult romance at all - partially "the straights are okay", partially "straight nonsense", partially me reflecting on why I like and don't like romance, and how this would or wouldn't be different if it wasn't straight. The topic of disability was handled fantastically. I have several questions about the ending, and weirdly complicated feelings about the D&D content.
But everything aside, shutting off my overanalysing brain - I had a genuinely good time with this and would recommend it to adult romance lovers. Had me kicking my little feet quite a few times, ngl.
Can also 100% recommend the audiobook, the narrator is fantastic, and definitely made it even more enjoyable. Spicy content on audio doesn't work for everyone, but turns out it works for me.
