This book delivers a healthy dose of mystery, action and dystopian setting. The book flows well; it kept me engaged with its twists and turns that I hadn't seen coming. An excellent read. I will definitely continue the series. It is very original and stands out brightly amongst the other dystopian YA novels that I have read.
I loved that the main focus stayed off of romantic relationships and drama. That was a huge point in this books favor. Yes, there was romance. Yes, there was a little bit of relationship drama. But the entire thing made sense in the book. It played a part in the grander scheme of things and threw me for a bit of a loop near the end of the book.
