AMAZING. BookTok has been recommending this for ages and I’m so glad I finally read it. There was SO MUCH in these short 180 pages - I felt like I was reading a 500-page novel.
The world and story were fantastic and not at all cringy, which I was half expecting. Characters were realistic and their reactions were varied but believable given the situations.
Spice: 5/5 delicious and again, not cringy.
Darkness: 4/5 check the trigger warnings because some dark shit happens, albeit quickly.
