I always enjoy the crazy hijinks of this series. I feared Ben would be a moper after the first chapter, but luckily it turns out his life is way too busy for him to be too depressing. He was very relatable, actually. His anxiety made me feel more normal.
And man did I love Eleonore. She's hilarious and relatable and vicious which was just wonderful. Her PTSD is heart-breaking and I wanted only good things to happen for her. The weird stage shows were such an original and bonkers choice for her character and I loved it.
I do have to say that there's a few too many pages in this book though. As much as I love the characters, it felt like we were just going over the same ground repeatedly, with the only difference being the position of the wonderfully athletic sex they're having before they have a deep, heartfelt conversation about their anxieties and fears. It's grew stale and a good editor could've cut a bunch of pages down or out.
