If you're looking for a cute, cozy, fast paced, demon romance... you've come to the right place. This was such a cute and slightly cringey at moments read.
We follow Cinnamon and Fallon. Cinnamon is human and Fallon is a demon. Cinnamon is heading home one night drunk and someone tries to rob her. As she is chasing the boy through the forest she runs into Fallon who is needing some help. Before you know it, Fallon is attacking her and as she is fighting for her life, she smacks him in the head with a cinnamon branch and he seemingly snaps out of the rage he was under.
We come to learn that Cinnamon and the entire realm have been tricked into worshipping a false Goddess who is really an evil witch that claims she protects the humans from the demons, when in reality she has cursed the demons.
Fallon essentially makes Cinnamon help him defeat the evil witch to save the demons from the awful curse they have been under. Along the way they fall in love.
I giggled and overall had a great time reading this book.
