I was very disappointed in this book. I loved the first three books, but this one was just "meh". It was basically plotless, with just a recollection of random things happening over three years. The writing style also jumps from letters written in the first person to third person narrative. What was even more annoying was that some parts of the letters were "omitted" and this was mentioned. Either you mention it or you don't, you don't just "omit it" because Anne doesn't have the right pen!
Everything was nice and cutesy in the end, as if everything sorted itself magically.
