Again, it's fascinating seeing how the stakes keep evolving, and the politics here between all the Watches, due to the fact that this is Russian urban fantasy, are utterly fascinating, as are the takes on power. One of those darkly funny books to watch play out, and, not knowing anything about how Russian publishing works, this feels like three serialized novellas put into a single book/arc, which is a neat model. Pick it up when you get the chance!
