Swearing at a Sea Monster
by Lauren Connolly
This was okay. I very much liked the relationship between the two main characters, their feelings, the development...
My issue was the discrimination (of him as a monster) and the way the FMC held a grudge against him for something that she accused his father of doing based on what her family/ ancestors told her. She literally hated him out of tradition. Wow. None of that was rational.
No one should be blamed for the (alleged) mistakes of their parents - i know i sure as hell don't want that.
(The bullying content warnings is for the discrimination he goes through as a monster)
