What can I say about this book? It's Kasie West so, addicting as ever.
I'm always so happy to own a new, adoringly sweet YA by this author. This time the story involves a vacation to a camp, that our main character goes to with her younger sister and her parents. It gives off a sort of Dirty Dancing vibe, but instead of Danny (Brooks) being a dancer, he's a guitarist in a band. And Baby (Avery) instead of wanting to save the world, wants to know what place she has in the world.
Kasie likes to include self discovery a lot in her books, like when characters try diferent things to try and understand what they like. She has done this in her first book and in "Love, life and the list" as well.
I liked the band thing and how her relationship grew with her sister, who I actually thought was super fun.
Brooks was a nice enough love interest, but I think he's one of my least favorites? He was a bit of an idiot at times, regarding Avery, so he doesn't have all my sympaties. But they worked well together and things turned out good in the end.
Can't wait for Kasie to anounce any other new releases!!
