Blown Away by Rob Biddulph

A cute - if relatively bland - rhyming story about a penguin who gets whisked away to a jungle island via kite. Other arctic animal friends (who try in vain to stop his ascent) get whisked along with him, which is a bummer, but at least it means he has help with figuring out how to get off that dang island. A parachute made out of jungle foliage is fashioned, and a hearty gust from an elephant's trunk sends them sailing back to their home. My favorite part of the whole book were the cute little swirls in the water. I don't know why -- I just think little cinnamon bun swirls are the cutest things!!
