Although I did enjoy the mini-series more

at least that had a bit more reason to Sara's curse than just kids in the family whose name starts with a 'K'

, I still enjoyed the book. Like many adaptations of novels, the original gave more insight into what was going on, what the characters were thinking, and more clarification as to what exactly was happening.
