I loved this book for its reflections on the inherent horrors and wonders experienced by birth-givers and its (bewilderingly correct) insistence that not enough consideration is given to the full reality of creating new humans and subsequently caring for them. Nightbitch, the character, is iconic. I loved that turning her into a dog made her more human. Release your inhibitions, feel the rain on your skin type of energy.
