I didn't quite get into this as much as normal, but the setting kept drawing me back (and prevented me from picking up another book that I intended to read) and I appreciated the chance to see Jane, Maura and Gabriel from an outsider's viewpoint.

And then there's the crux of the plot: What happened in Botswana obviously had some import, but how... and who?
