I binged the whole series on the Shonen Jump app so this is a review for up through chapter 197.
Sakamoto Days is a fun and often hilarious action comedy with a solid core of main characters. This is important as at no point do you truly feel the main characters are in any danger. This is not a bad thing because the comedy, character development, and action are a ton of fun.
My one major complaint is a spoilerThere was a point where it looked like the MC would be able to continue the rest of the series staying in his preferred chubby form but that has been thrown to the wayside Minor trigger warning for at times quite a bit of blood and bodily harm in some scenes and a bit of body shaming due to the size of the MC.
