This book was way too hard to get through. I don't buy many books, but I bought this one while I was going through my Hush Hush/Fallen phase, and was madly in love with stories of fallen angels. Needless to say if I hadn't bought it I wouldn't have read it. I probably would have gotten through the first 50 pages and returned the book to wherever I got it from. The paragraphs are long and boring and the writing is lacking in anything entertaining. As a female lead character, Bethany is too much of a needy, insecure, dependent, annoyance and her boyfriend Xavier treats her like she can't do anything by herself. I was unimpressed with all the characters in this book really, and the main message is obviously to remain pious your whole life or all your friends and family will die. Seriously, could you be any more preachy with a book?? Horrible let down.
