The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels by India Holton

5.0

This book was just as delightful as its title. The writing style was pleasantly quirky in the way of Harry Potter, but without the unfortunate reputation of its author. There wasn't much world building, but honestly it didn't need it. The premise of pirates using flying houses instead of ships was presented perfectly and succinctly, and while I'd be interested in more books in this world with a description of how we got here, I didn't need it to enjoy this book. Ned was the perfect rogue, Cecilia a blend of high society, naive woman and pirate, and the entire Wisteria Society was just charming. It's a well deserved five stars, and I know I will go back and reread this little novel again soon.
