World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War
by Max Brooks
There's just something so ... so very beautiful about when communist Cuba solves the world's zombie war expressly because and while it's a communist country, and then as a result of that success, elects to turn its back on communism. Anyway, the two lessons of this book are that Americans are made of different stuff to people of other nationalities, and that the way to solve regional and global conflict is by introducing zombies to the problem.
