There was some good information about classroom management in this book, but a lot of it felt very punitive. The book really stressed strictness and giving student consequences- I little more than I prefer in my teaching style. And these themes were hammered home in a way that got to be repetitive. Nevertheless, there were some good reminders about explicitly teaching and maintaining high expectations in your classroom.
