I was hoping for a bit more on the nostalgia front, with the hype in the blurb about Blockbuster and Y2K….but we don’t get much of that.
The story is told in two timelines, so it does bounce back and forth, but the chapter headings let you know where you’re at.
Nothing super shocking, you can kind of piece things together if you’re familiar with the thriller/mystery genre. It was fine…I liked it enough to place another book by the author on hold, so there’s that.
