Purely amazing! It has many storylines and povs which in other books sometimes feel uneven or confusing, but here even if you don’t like all of them all the time, everyone is perfectly written and makes you want to keep reading. The storylines don’t all converge in this book, leaving plenty of mystery and a hunger for more. It’s got impecable world building, sentient serpents a bit like dragons hmm, mystery, interesting magic, strong complex female characters, pirates, and even a love subplot.
