An Autobiography by Angela Y. Davis

emotional hopeful informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

Forever in awe and inspired by Dr. Davis. As someone who loves sociological theory, it was fascinating to hear Dr. Davis speak about her time at the University of Frankfurt where she worked under Herbert Marcuse, Theodor Adorno, Jürgen Habermas and other big names who did ground breaking work for critical theory in sociology. And obviously that is just a small section of the autobiography, but every single second of this book is worth a listen, could not put it down.
