I can finally see why people say Hazelwood's work is so formulaic. 

It tends to follow these beats: FMC and MMC have some of past together, normally some form of miscommunication makes him fall for her but she thinks he's an ass, forced proximity happens, she gets sexually harassed by a mentor in the STEM area, he, who has some form of power, stands up for her. Oh and for some reason she's always poor and he already has money and takes care of her on that front.

Also this book started a very long trend that I am fully over, published Reylo fanfiction. Please give us any other ship I'm begging you.

Besides that, not a bad romance novel. But I am worried if Hazelwood can break from her formula especially with Bride coming out in February.
