I was looking forward to this book, because the blurb was compelling and I love a dark, emotional, reflective read 😌

I found this one quite difficult, especially with its depictions of self-harm (content warnings included below), but it didn’t stop me from reading. I kept going back to it 😳 I wonder whether it was partially because I related so much to both Haruka and Mei’s struggles…

I gave this 4 out of 5 stars, thank you ✨
