Oh my heart. This was such an excellent read. I enjoyed learning about these characters and the author developed them beautifully along the way. The telling of love in your younger days was very reminiscent of my own.

I was captivated from the start and wanted to catapult myself to the end to see how these characters fared in the end. I could tell towards the end that it was going to end the way that it did but I didn't feel let down by it. I was happy to see that Percy and Sam were able to overcome and persevere while also acknowledging the wrong doing by both of them. The growth and maturity of the characters was a very welcome ending.

Love can get ... messy at times and the story here really showcases that in a way that doesn't make it feel cliche and icky which I thoroughly enjoyed.
