Oh this story packed a punch. This was an epic co-written story by these authors and I was hard pressed to put it down at all. The raw emotions to the tragic moments made this story so stunning plus the passion was off the charts for London and Ian.
I think the one thing that I really loved about this story is the concept. It is, at least to me, a very real one that a person can be thrusted into. I love how the children help Ian open his eyes. But I broke for London so many times through the story for what she was put through by Ian. There were a lot of times I really wanted to smack him because of it. But I understand where he was coming from. He is a very flawed alpha but he thinks he is coming from the right place. I love London’s sass and how she fights him though. She masks her emotions from him fairly well too.
Overall, I absolutely adored this story and everything it gave us. A great fluid storyline, amazing characters that grow and some pretty funny but also swoon worthy moments throughout. I highly recommend picking this one up!
