Baptism of Fire by Andrzej Sapkowski

5.0

5/5 stars

Baptism of Fire is the best book in The Witcher series. (That I have read so far. I have 3 books to go.)
The plot progression here is fast paced and very well executed. I love how most of the book is from Geralt's point of view.
Geralt was wounded badly and ended up in a coma after the battle. He did stay in Brokilon for a few months. After he recovered, he went on a hunt to rescue Ciri. The Witcher was joined by Milva, Regis, Dandelion, and Cahir.
Ciri and Yennefer was barely in this book but when they were it was awesome. I also enjoyed the meeting with the sorceresses.
I honestly enjoy magic and battles in fantasy books.
