Age of Death by Michael J. Sullivan

4.0

Age of Death feels like just a part of a story and is definitely incomplete. Reading the author’s notes, this was intentional. After 2 books of this, I’m not sure if I feel this was the right call or not because there’s really a lack of something in this book as well as the one before. Some storylines barely make it into the book and any others that do make it, feel tacked on (probably because it was not written to be 3 books, but 1). Still, I am invested, I like the characters, and I want to know how the story ends. I just can’t justify giving an incomplete story 5 stars.
