🚂 With A Vengeance by Riley Sager 🚂
MY RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In 1942, six people destroyed Anna Matheson’s family. Twelve years later, she’s ready for revenge.
Under false pretenses, Anna lures them onto a luxury overnight train from Philadelphia to Chicago, aiming to force confessions and deliver them to waiting authorities.
But when one of the passengers is murdered, Anna realizes someone else is out for blood—and they won’t stop until no one is left alive.
Riley Sager is always hit or miss for me, but I really enjoyed this one! The dwindling party is not my favourite trope, and I didn’t find anything in this super surprising or exciting, but I did read it in one sitting and couldn’t put it down! I would definitely recommend this. If you like books like Five Survive by Holly Jackson, I think you’ll like this!
Read this if you like:
- dwindling party trope
- locked room
- everyone has secrets
