I am a history buff and yet I had not known much about Tommie Smith and Derrick Barnes. This graphic novel was incredibly informative. I just wish that we got an inside look on how Tommie’s Smith family thought about his actions during the Olympics. The reason being is that he talked highly about his family throughout the entire graphic novel, except after the Olympics.
