Don't Let Go by Harlan Coben

this seemed like a good red herring plot, but then the herring ended also being true. i enjoyed the story. the characters were pretty good, though a little flatter than some of his others perhaps. i did feel that there was a bit too much attention focused on the misdirect, especially considering the main character kept saying that he felt like he was missing something (nothing like announcing the plot twist before it happens).
