moving and beautifully written. i loved the metaphors and imagery in this. tells a story of abuse in a wlw relationship without holding back. and i especially liked how she added in historical context and current perspectives on abuse in LGBTQ relationships. a dark read but one that shines light on something not much discussed so im glad it was picked for book club so that i read it.
