Fi thought her days of solving mysteries were behind her. She was ready to move on with her life and start fresh with her family and the people that she cares most about. That is until Patrick is given an opportunity to work in South America, and yet another drag queen has gone missing. Now Fi is dealing with her own mistakes when Ms. Merkin is asking for her help in finding Sparkle McCavity. Fi is not sure how she can help but one does not say no to Ms Merkin. When Ms Merkin’s niece is also found murdered at TRASH, Fi has no choice but to solve the mysteries once again surrounding those she loves. Will Fi be able to figure out what has happened or will this be one case that she is unable to solve?

I am so incredibly happy that I found this series. It is an absolute joy to read. I love the TRASH family and how much they are there for one another. This book was just as incredible as the first and I found myself even more invested in the characters the second time around. I loved that addition of Stan/Annie, and Sparkle McCavity/Niall.

Fi continues to be a joy to follow. I love that she is both so sure of herself and so unsure at the exact same time. I personally feel that is an honest representation of most people at different points in their lives. The relationship between Robyn and Fi is one of my favorites. I love how much they are there for one another and that even given everything that has happened between them they are always there for one another without blame.

This installment had me in all of the feels. I was so upset that Patrick was not a bigger character this time around. I wanted to see more of that relationship unfolding and how Fi would deal with it. But I will say that I do love how their relationship is developing and that this time around Fi was brought even more into the drag world and community. There were times when I was sad and other times when I was laughing out loud.

Found family is what this book is all about. Del, Thora, Ms Merkin, Robyn, Gavin, Fi, Mark and now Stan have created this incredible family amongst themselves and it is a family that I am excited to continue to revisit. With chapters that varied in length and a medium to fast pace this was a book that I could not put down. I know that I have one more book in the series that has been published already and all I can say is that I really hope Kitty Murphy continues writing it because this has definitely joined my list of favorite series.
