Horrifying, like a car accident you can’t look away from. I couldn’t put it down because I had to know what happened, but it was difficult to read due to the nature of the abuse that occurred. The ending was jaw dropping! I do feel like it would’ve added a lot to the story if Miss Fairchild’s mother had still been alive and been interviewed as well. Overall a really compelling mystery/thriller.
