Nine Moons in a River of Stars: Phase Five by Xen

My questions remain. The moon still shines. The sun hasn’t risen. Marrow people continue to change. Rabbits. Lizards. Flowers. Turtles. Wisps of air. Stone statues as high as a skyscraper.
New things happen in this phase. Exciting changes. The ones that come with longing and loving someone forever.
I have so many themes and hypotheses floating around in my brain but one thing I keep coming back to, is how strong is love? Is that the message?
If my child turned into some sort of human lizard or a sparkly rabbit would I love them as much? If my mum was a wisp of air? Or my dad a turtle. Would I love them because I love everything about them or would I run and be horrified at what they had become? How deep is love?
If my husband grew horns and a tail, would I still love him? Nao and Sho are still in love. There is hope for Marrow as long as love survives.
