N or M? by Agatha Christie

4.0

By all rights, this should be a three star book; the impossibility of stumbling into a secret passageway and the (I thought) pretty obvious foreshadowing of one half of the villains almost knocked it down for me. But in the end, I just love Tommy and Tuppence as characters so much that even when they’re surrounded by what should be mediocrity (again, grading on a Christie scale), they just make everything shine.
