I thoroughly enjoyed this little book. I know some have found it disappointing but I really enjoyed the more light hearted look at English society. The rogues to this point have all been men in Austen's stories. It was fascinating to see the role taken on by a woman. Austen books always have a good dose of the ridiculous. This story seemed to be a full dalliance into that world. I loved it and consider it a just placeholder in the Austen canon.
