🌹Malas by Marcela Fuentes 🌹
This book was deep and emotional! This book had two points of views: Pilar and Lulu. It starts with Pilar’s life as a 15 year old and follows her story well into adult hood. Lulu’s life intersects with Pilars because her aunt and father are holding secrets about her. And as a 14 year old girl of course she is curious. However, Lulu just at 14 years old has already dealt with so much! With an alcoholic father and both her mother and grandmother deceased she is forced to fend for herself at such a young age. But together Pilar and Lulu find comfort in each other, leading to have secrets unravel. I felt for both Pilar and Lulu throughout the whole book. Highly recommend this read!
PS. Lulu also goes to a Selena concert & I wish I could have gone to one too! So it was nice to experience one in a book! 🌹
