Ex-Wife by Ursula Parrott
4.5
funny

I saw a review that said this book is a written Broadway play and I couldn't agree more. Ursula parrott is so masterful with her prose. She has been likened to the female version of f. Scott Fitzgerald but I think that statement does her an injustice. I was so taken by her prose, I audibly laughed at most pages, I felt dreadfully connected to her twenty something characters living through the seemingly minimalist plot. I am stunned by how timeless and modern her words on sex and relationships and women remain today. And I am absolutely intrigued by ursula herself. I loved this book and the McNally edition's foreword and afterwords.
