The Engagement Game
by Jenny Holiday
3.5 stars
This is the second book in this series where I was worried about the contents due to the description, but discovered something else entirely up on reading it. "Blackmail" is not really the best word for what happens, and I love how Rosie is never really a victim but proactive in her own fate at all times. Marcus is not really my type as far as heroes go, but I enjoyed the interactions between him and Rosie. I like how the inevitable dramatic fallout of their charade was not as overwrought or drawn out as it could have been. Overall a fun, well written read.
