I really wanted to like this book, because I also liked The Midnight Library. I bought it in twice formats actually. But the only thing I liked was the illustration of Ibiza at the begging. The book got weirder and weirder, the „presence“ was not for me, I didn’t like the characters. The part where Grace tells her former student graphically how she cheated on her husband?! Many repetitions.. And I love fantasy but that plot was just weird. Sadly not a book for me, dnf at 35%. Read some recommendations, doesn’t seem like I missed something.
