My rating is probably closer to 2.5 stars, as I did enjoy parts of this book but it was quite different than I thought it would be. It is definitely science heavy, and takes the reader on an evolutionary journal through bipedalism. I liked the second half of the book more, once it got into more of the social science stuff, which is what I was more interested in reading about. The book kind of jumped all over the place and didn't always feel the most coherent, but I appreciated how much the author seemed to really appreciate walking, with all it's complexities and benefits, and their enthusiasm did come across well in the book.
