I reviewed this book as a collection of stories, because it functionally was an anthology.
The result of it was an average of 4.3 stars and that sounds about right
It is not a perfekt book
But it is interesting - allbeit partially
There were stories that were significantly more interesting to me than others which is also alright with an anthology
Overall the connection of the 12 residents of banyan court was...there but a bit loose and that may be my main problem
The last story however brought everything together in a satisfactory way and had its own
'what the f*ck have you written up Jonathan Sims' moments, yes that is plural, within 80 pages that it lasted and that left me...shocked
How did I - resident scaredy-cat-can't-watch-horror-movies - come to read a horror book?
The answer is: because i listened to the magnus archives also directed by Jonathan sims
If you hope to get TMA in book form tho you might be hoping for too much. Some stories feel like Statements but it does stand on its own feet and that is good
If you are looking for a book that won't let you sleep that is not that either
But what it is is a neat collection of loosely connected stories with some ups and downs
