This is my second time reading the book after almost 10 years and I think it was so much better this time around.
1. The nostalgia factor had me teary eyed from basically the first sentence
2. Knowing what’s to come heightened my emotions TREMENDOUSLY. I was even more anxious because I knew the sad parts were right around the corner.
3. Being an adult reading about kids going through these things just hits my heart so much harder
I remember loving the second book even more so I can’t wait to see if it lives up to my memories!
