No Name by Wilkie Collins

4.0

This is the story of what a Woman's patience can endure--- eek Wrong book! but which i believe sums up the works i have read of Wilkie Collins.
Possess your souls with patience, Readers.
Very lengtttttttthy. It is told is eight parts!
But the good thing about mystery books especially good mystery books is that it makes you curious what happens next.
I felt for the girls instantly on the First Scene. It starts with a mystery and a tragedy which i prayed not to happen but then we won't have a story...boo!
The rich, fun, very interesting Scene Four is definitely a page-turner.
And my most favorite character is a swindler.
I just love Captain Wragge.
I was a little disappointed with the ending though. Perhaps i was just tired and the romance/recovery scene felt cliched for me but nonetheless give this book a chance. But i suggest you read The Woman In White and The Moonstone first, to be acquainted with Collins' writing and in turn to be armed with the virtue of patience.
