Oh. Em. Gee. - this effin book people!?!!? I just can’t!
Ms. Mayne is one of my new favourite authors, so after binging the Monstrous series I hopped on over to the Folk, and let me just say this first book…thank goodness I can immediately read book 2 because this ends on the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers! Which, normally, I don’t enjoy, but this one is soooo well done! Were some of the plot points predictable? Yes, but it didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment.
The ANGST!! So much angst and emotional turmoil, I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
