This book was a very beautiful depiction of fantasy, love, hope, vengeance, and even war. Rebecca Ross always sweeps me into her stories and brings me to the other side feeling content and wildlife’s on the other side of them. The characters in this story develop so well and I felt like I knew them as my own friends. I enjoyed that this book could also be read as the second in a duology. But also as a stand alone; there was enough information to be read alone. Would recommend to those who like fantasy, war, slow-burn romance, adventures, and plot twists.
