A classic sci-fi comedy series that everyone should give a try. This omnibus has all of the novels Douglas Adams wrote for the series, which excludes the 6th novel in the series he didn't write. I personally really enjoyed the first two, but still found some enjoyment with the latter novels. A breakdown of scores for each novel in the series is listed below:

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: 4.25/5
The Restaurant at the End of the Universe: 4.25/5
Life, the Universe and Everything: 3/5 (probably would've been higher if I understood cricket)
So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish: 3.5/5
Young Zaphod Plays it Safe (short story): 3.5/5
Mostly Harmless: 3/5
(would be much higher if the ending didn't suck. Douglas Adams himself even admitted this ending sucked. Thankfully, Dirk Maggs gave this novel a much better ending in his radio series adaption, "The Quintessential Phase")
